Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we are pleased to ship Hastshilp products globally from our base here in the UK.

How much will shipping cost?

Shipping costs depend on the size and weight of the item(s) ordered and the destination country. Your accurate shipping cost will be calculated automatically during the checkout process once you provide your delivery address.

Can I track my order?

Absolutely. Once your order is dispatched from our UK base, we will send you a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information and a link to follow your parcel's journey.

How long does delivery usually take?

Delivery times vary. Within the UK, orders typically arrive within 1-2 working days. International shipping usually takes 3-5 working days, depending on location and customs processing. Please see our delivery page for more details.

What happens if I’m not in to receive my order?

If you’re unable to receive your order on its delivery day, please contact your carrier to rearrange the delivery.

I think my order has been lost. What do I do?

Returns & Exchanges

What is your returns policy?

We hope you adore your Hastshilp purchase. However, if you need to make a return, we accept returns on most items within 30 days of you receiving them, provided they are unused, in their original condition, and with original packaging. Please be aware that bespoke/custom-made orders are typically non-returnable unless faulty. For full details, please read our Returns policy

How do I start a return?

To initiate a return, please contact our customer care team first by emailing us at hello@hastshilp.co.uk. Include your order number and the reason for the return, and we will provide instructions on how to proceed.

When will I know that you will have received my return?

To know if we received your return, we recommend you track your return shipment. As soon as we receive the parcel, its status will be updated accordingly.

How long will it take for my refund to come through?

Please note that refunds can take 5 – 10 working days to show on your account. If you still haven’t received your refund past this timeframe, please contact support@hastshilp.co.uk

Will I be refunded for shipping when I return my order?

We will only refund shipping if your order was damaged in transit, is faulty or was returned to us due to failed delivery attempts, and you have chosen not to have it delivered back to you or receive a replacement. We will not refund shipping if you are returning your order for any other reason.

What happens if my order is damaged or lost upon return?

Please note that the customer is responsible for the safe return of the product. We are therefore not liable for any damaged or lost returns. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Ordering & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and other secure payment options provided through Shopify Payments. All transactions are encrypted and processed securely.

My payment was declined, why I have still been charged?

When you place an order, we carry out a standard pre-authorisation check on your payment card.

If your payment was unsuccessful, a temporary hold on your funds may still be put in place.
Please note that you have not been charged, and this reserve will usually be released within three to 10 working days dependant on your bank.

For more information, please speak to your bank directly as they will be able to advise you on their specific policy.

Can I cancel my order?

There is a limited window where we may be able to cancel your order prior to dispatch. If you would like to cancel your order, please contact our team right away.

For bespoke items, you may cancel up to 48 hours after placing your order. After this, we will deduct a 50% cancellation fee from your refund amount.

Can I add or remove items in my order?

We are unable to take further payment for additional items after your order has been placed. If there is an additional item you wish to purchase, you will need to place another order.

If you would like to remove an item from your order, please contact our team right away, as we only have a limited window to make amendments to your order.

Can I change my order details?

Please ensure that your address and contact details are entered correctly when checking out. If you do spot a mistake once your order has been placed, please contact us right away and they will do their best to assist you.

We aim to dispatch your order quickly, which means that there is a only small window where your order details can be changed.

I have not received an order confirmation email, what can I do?

After placing your order, we will send you an order confirmation email - this may take up to an hour to arrive.

If you have not received your order confirmation email, please check your Junk email folder, or please contact us for further assistance.

You can also view your Order History under the 'My Account' section in your profile.

How do I care for my rattan furniture and homewares?

Natural rattan thrives best when kept dry. Dust regularly using a soft, dry cloth or a brush attachment on your vacuum. For minor spills, wipe immediately with a slightly damp cloth and allow it to air dry thoroughly. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or saturating the rattan with water. How should I clean and maintain my brass items?

Brass develops a natural patina (a gentle darkening) over time, adding to its character. If you prefer a brighter shine, gently polish your brass piece using a reputable brass cleaner and a soft, non-abrasive cloth, always following the product instructions.
